LOC MERINO BOXERS
LOC MERINO BOXERS
The LOC Merino Boxer Shorts are made of the highest quality Merino Wool. And like all other products we develop and make, both design and materials are thoroughly tested in real life situations to be used specifically in our waders (but obviously you can use them in other waders and outdoor activities as well).
The Merino Wools soft, moisture wicking, insulating, odour-resistant, temperature-regulating, breathable and elastic qualities are well documented and people from around the world use them in all kinds of outdoor activities. This really is nature's own high-tech material.
Our Boxers are made of 98% of the finest and softest Merino wool (17,5 micron), mixed with 2% Elastane® and weaved into a stretchy but very strong and durable fabric. The blend of Merino Wool and Elastane® is the perfect mix of materials for both warmth, ventilation and outstanding wicking capabilities.
Origin: Our Merino wool fabric is made in Sweden by a small, family owned factory dating back to 1965. To be able to make super high quality Merino products "close to home" makes us really proud.
Remember: A pair of Merino Boxers (and Long-Johns), with great wicking capabilities, is a must-have if you own a pair of LOC Waders. These merino wool undergarments will make sure you get the most out of your waders in terms of warmth, ventilation and comfort.

How to take care of your Merino Boxers
- Wash on the wool cycle on the washing machine (max heat 30-40 degrees Celsius)
- If you have the opportunity use detergent made specially for wool clothes. If you don't have wool detergent, use a mild environmentally certified detergent without enzymes and a neutral PH value.
- Don't use bleach.
- Do not use fabric softeners. It is bad for the environment and it reduces the performance of the fabric. Mostly it reduces wicking properties and prolongs drying time.
- Do not tumble dry. Again bad for the environment and since wool is sensitive of heat it's a bad idea.
